Khaled Temraz

Dr. Khaled Temraz, RPT, APTA-CCI, DPT, has earned his doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of New England.

Dr. Temraz has completed the Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program through the American Physical Therapy Association and is a member of the American Academy of Othopaedic Manual Physical Therapists and the American College of Sports Medicine.

Along with over twenty years of experience, Dr. Temraz has trained extensively in a number of additional disciplines; including Manual Lymphatic techniques, Myofascial Manipulation, CranioSacral Therapy, Advanced Evaluation and Manipulation of the Cranio-facial region, Cervical Upper Thoracic spine, the Lumbo-Pelvic-Hip Complex, Vestibular and Balance Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, ETPS Neuromechanical Therapy, Sports Kinesiology Tape, Laser Therapy, Post-Arthroscopy Rehabilitation, Total Joint Replacement Rehabilitation, and more.

Dr. Temraz has earned his certification from American Institute of Balance for Vestibular rehabilitation. He is an expert clinician for vestibular assessment and management and is dedicated to helping patients with vertigo, dizziness and imbalance.

Dr. Temraz successfully finished the evidence-based Concussion Certification. Nearly 1.7 million people sustain a concussion, a traumatic brain injury (mTBI) in the U.S. each year. Concussion may affect male and female athletes at any age or level of competition. The implications of concussion on cognitive function, school performance, and mental state can be detrimental to any athlete.

Dr Temraz provides his patients with a comprehensive overview of all aspects of concussion identification, assessment and management.

Of these studies, it was Dr. Temraz’ work in the research of the use of cold laser in conjunction with traction and lumbar extension exercises for treatment of lumbar disc herniation that was published in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Practice magazine, the magazine of the Orthopaedic Section of American Physical Therapy Association.
